Transport for local people

Minibuses

South Somerset

All our minibuses cover the following areas:
Yeovil, Martock, South Petherton, Crewkerne, Chard, Ilminster, Somerton and Langport.

We provide a range of services for these areas

Community Transport  always try wherever possible to provide the same driver for each journey.  Our Drivers like to get know the clients so they  are able to ensure the journey is tailored to the individual needs. Whether it be checking they have their front door keys, reminding them where they are going, as well as knowing automatically who can get on the bus via the side step or that the client has mobility issues so they need to access the vehicle via the tail-lift.  All drivers have had extensive wheelchair fixing training.  We try and provide a regular familiar service helping our elderly clients with mobility issues and memory problems.

We provide many wheelchair accessible journeys to enable people to get out and about.

Journeys include:-

  • Medical appointments
  • Day Care Centres
  • Lunch
  • Shopping
  • Weddings

Sadly, we have provided transport to many funerals, our drivers are very professional and go aptly dressed.
